My Students

I want to make learning and being in school fun for all of my students. My class is filled with 20 sweet, fun and curious children. They are so investigative and dedicated to learning. I am always looking for and implementing new, creative ways to challenge and engage them in learning.

Learning and school need to be fun and engaging!

We are a small year-round school in North Carolina. My students and families are truly the best! They are so dedicated to learning and growing together. I am lucky to teach second grade! I think this is such a great age because the students are beginning to become independent and they are so curious about the world.

My Project

Osmos were introduced to my class earlier this year and they were a huge hit! My students LOVE the words, numbers, and tangrams that we have been using to enrich our learning this year! These tools do a great job of refining skills that we have learned and practiced this year!

Recently, we have started to do more coding on various platforms such as Scratch Jr and Tinkeracad and I felt that having Osmo Coding kits would be a great addition to helping them learn coding skills!

Technology skills like this are so important for the world that we live in today and the world our children are headed to as adults.

I also found the Pizza Osmo kit and felt that it would be so great for them to practice math and problem-solving skills with real-life scenarios! These kits will such a great addition to our Osmo kit library!
