Help me give my students the tools to help them recognize letters, learn letter sounds, and build early reading and writing skills through fun, hands-on learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Alphabet letter strings are an important learning tool for kindergarten students because they help build early literacy skills in a fun, hands-on way.

Children use letter strings to recognize and name letters, practice matching uppercase and lowercase letters, learn alphabetical order, and strengthen letter-sound connections.

These activities also support fine motor development as students manipulate the letters. Through play and exploration, alphabet letter strings help young learners build the confidence and foundational skills they need to become successful readers and writers. These materials will be a great addition to our classroom. Thank you for helping my students learn through play.
