Help me give my students Ear bud/headphones to use while my class uses iPads and laptops, stools-to enable my students to sit in smaller seats, Fidget Bands for energetic students, motivational incentives, and 100th day of school items.
This is my 22nd school year teaching at my school in Palm Bay, FL, which is a Title One school. Over 70% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. I have a special compassion for our students who are in transition and homeless. Many of them have very limited exposure to technology at home.
I love that my school has a diverse population with students who speak multiple languages and have multiple ability levels.
My energetic students are eager to learn and have many different learning styles. It is my goal to make learning fun to all of my students and engage them, while preparing them for the 22nd century by incorporating futuristic educational technology and techniques.
In addition, I like to incorporate the use of multi-cultural activities, to enhance my student's education, keep them engaged, and provide an environment that is nurturing and educational.
These products will help my students to be more engaged with their lessons while at their desks by providing a technique that helps students who have a lot of energy to keep their feet busy, instead of just sitting still in their chairs. When on the computers, students who have smaller stools can be more comfortable, while learning with the latest technology. My students will also benefit from incentives for those who make learning gains in language arts, math, science and social studies. Lastly, on the 100th Day of School celebration, we will have a more enriched day.
