Although many of my first grade students come from lower socioeconomic group families, where they have little or very limited exposure to books, what they all have in common is a love of learning. The children will sit in the wobble and bean bag chairs, to provide a fun way to sit, while learning and improving their reading ability levels. I want to inspire them to be engaged in learning. My goal is to provide a nurturing, and fun educational experience, while teaching my students everything they need to learn in first grade. They are like roses; ready to bloom!

About my class
