My Students

As a first-year teacher preparing my classroom, I am anxious to create a learning environment that is effective and happy. As most first-graders are, my students are eager to learn and excited to participate in lessons. It takes a lot to keep all their little minds engaged and focused on our lessons.

My students are curious, excited, and wiggly!

My Project

My first-grade students have never known a world where school wasn't impacted by COVID-19. Help me provide a safe, warm, and loving atmosphere for my students to learn, grow, and thrive.

Many of my students are experiencing learning inside a classroom for the very first time.

Resources like surf seats, beanbags, lap desks, etc. will provide the movement these wiggly first graders need to remain engaged. I am so excited to utilize Power Pens during practice stations in my classroom. These power pens will allow my students to receive instant feedback when I am working with another small group and unable to be supervising their station.
