Your generosity has made a wonderful difference in our preschool classroom and has given my students exciting new ways to learn through hands-on exploration and play.\r\nMy students are naturally curious, and these materials have allowed them to explore numbers, counting, shapes, patterns, and early problem-solving in ways that feel like fun rather than work. The number puzzles, manipulatives, tracing materials, and hands-on activities give students opportunities to practice important early math skills again and again while building confidence.\r\nThe science materials have been especially exciting. The prepared slides of animals, insects, and plants give my students the opportunity to look closely at the world around them and begin thinking like little scientists. They love making observations, asking questions, and sharing what they discover with their classmates.\r\nThese materials are being used throughout our day—in small groups, during STEM activities, and during free-choice work time. They have also helped create more opportunities for students to work together, communicate their ideas, solve problems, and learn from one another.\r\nFor preschoolers, these early experiences are so important. You have helped make learning more engaging, accessible, and exciting for my students while giving them a strong foundation for future success in math and science.\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping them discover that learning can be fun, hands-on, and full of possibilities!","fullyFundedDate":1787175456142,"projectUrl":"project/stem-learning-fun/10266092/","projectTitle":"STEM Learning Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Janene","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3430245_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1479440506410","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/janene"},{"teacherId":9278108,"projectId":10329973,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding our DonorsChoose project and helping me create a warm, welcoming classroom for my students! Your generosity has made such a difference in our preschool classroom. Because of your support, my students now have more opportunities to move, explore, play, and learn together when we go outside.\r\n\r\nFor my preschoolers, outdoor play is so much more than a break from the classroom. It is a time when they develop important gross-motor skills, practice coordination and balance, build confidence, and learn how to interact with their friends. The new balls, basketball hoop, activity mats, jump ropes, dance ribbons, and slide have given my students so many new ways to be active and challenge themselves.\r\nOne of my favorite parts of this project has been seeing students who may have difficulty keeping up with their peers become more included in our outdoor experiences. The wagon gives us a way to make sure that students who cannot walk long distances can still participate in adventures around our school grounds. Every child deserves the opportunity to be an active part of the group, and these materials help make that possible.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your donation has helped create opportunities for my students to learn through play. They are building physical skills, practicing cooperation, gaining independence, exploring science, and creating joyful memories—all while having fun.\r\nThank you for investing in my students and giving them opportunities to move, explore, and discover the world around them.
