My Students

I am lucky enough to wake up each morning and teach third graders who are eight and nine years old. I love teaching them each day. They are a beautiful mix of cultures from all over the world.

My students love to learn when it is engaging and hands-on.

My students are eager to learn but sometimes struggle when doing seat work. They do their best thinking and learning when the material is presented in an engaging way. This is true for all subject areas.

My Project

Ron Clark Academy is a national conference to inspire teachers to bring magic into their classrooms. I have been so blessed to have this project fully funded by 31 amazing donors. Going to this conference will help me to become inspired and motivated to be the best teacher that I can be.

I want to continue to grow as an educator and bring excitement into my classroom for all students and being able to get to this conference is crucial.

I am requesting funding for flight, lodging, and food to make this experience possible.

I will learn how to bring more academic rigor and a culture for success back to my students.

In addition, I want to learn and grow from some of the most inspiring people in education. This conference will give me access to so many top people in my field. Everything I learn will be brought right back and used immediately in my classroom.
