Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students have a great deal of difficulty understanding their own feelings and emotions. They need to be taught that certain feelings are a normal part of our day. These books and materials will help my students to become more aware of their feelings and emotions.

I want my students to understand that their feelings and emotions are important!

I want them to know that it is okay to feel the way that they do at certain times. My hope, is that in the process of learning about their own feelings, they will develop kindness and empathy for their classmates. This will make for a wonderful learning environment for everyone.
