Learn-To-Read Audio Books For Our K-2 Listening Center

I need 31 different "learn-to-read" audio books, including "No More Monsters For Me" and "Frog and Toad Are Friends".

These language-delayed students are learning basic language skills and they need a lot of scaffolding to be successful learners. I teach 12 speech/language impaired students who are beginning their academic journey in the K-2 grades.

These students require very specific, individualized instruction. I have found that they like to practice reading at a listening center, listening to the audio tape of the story while reading the same story in front of them.

I have lots of books in my classroom, but only a few of them work with audio delivery. I am requesting 31 "learn-to-read" audio books, published by Harper, that are appropriate for the levels of my students. These students love to read, but they need a lot of support to do this successfully. A listening center is a great way to provide more support for beginning readers.

Your financial assistance will make it possible for me to have a fully-stocked listening center, with high-interest books that my students love to listen to and read.
