My Project

Students with complex language needs benefit greatly from learning through play. And play that includes interesting texture, sounds, and lights is wonderfully effective in engaging learners with autism or other diverse abilities.

These materials will give my language-delayed students an awesome reason to do the hard work of learning to communicate with others!

I will use these spinning, light-up, and noisy toys and books to elicit multiple language functions including requesting, labeling, and describing. I look forward to the joy and laughter that these materials will elicit in my speech-language students.
