My Students

The students at my school are incredible! I am the only kindergarten teacher at this awesome Title I school and am amazed at how incredible the students truly are at our school.

The school that I teach at is amazing!

The principal, teachers, and staff go above and beyond to help the students have a positive educational experience every day. The faculty is very caring.

I am inspired by kindergartners and their positivity. They come to class with an eagerness to learn. Often times I see them working together, saying kind things to others, and helping each other. They are always a good example to me. I want to find every way possible to continue to help motivate, encourage, teach, and inspire them.

My Project

I have the amazing opportunity to participate in CMI and Letrs training. After learning more, I know that "When we know better, we do better." I will be using these resources to help support the things I have learned. Unfortunately, several kindergarten students have been unable to attend preschool due to Covid. I am looking for ways to help improve any student learning gaps due to the pandemic.

We know that students learn better through hands-on learning.

My goal is to use these materials for students to work in small groups that will focus on what students need. My hope is by implementing the things I have learned in CMI and Letrs and making learning engaging I can help my students develop their understanding of language arts and math.
