My Students

Teaching is a wonderful profession! It is often a difficult and tiring job, but most teachers make every effort to reach all of their students and to make a positive difference in their lives. I believe I could be a much more effective teacher with a few crucial organizational tools!

My students come from a poor inner-city neighborhood.

Many of their homes are surrounded by boarded-up, vacant buildings. However, you would never believe how bright their intelligence and determination shines in their faces! The boys and girls are eager to learn new things and deserve an effective and organized teacher. Our school has been highly effective academically and we strive to maintain this standard.

My Project

I am requesting a mobile cart with dividers to organize the many papers and materials I use daily. The cart is mobile and will be beneficial for me and the children to use. No longer will I have stacks of paper everywhere! The cart also uses color-coded trays to store additional supplies as needed. The last organizational tools requested are two tabletop communication caddies. These will be helpful to store the individual children's work that needs to be filed or to be sent home.

Your generous donation will be so instrumental in helping me create a more organized and effective classroom.

Too much valuable time is wasted when we must hunt for things! These tools will aid both the students and myself to achieve great things!
