My Project

My goals are to get the students interested in how things work and move and how to incorporate art into those things. Many of the students I work with are interested in cars and motors but shy away from the arts and design. This project would help them broaden their horizons and knowledge of art. They would be thinking about cause and effect and how things work together in science and nature.

My students are often students who are not that engaged in classroom work.

This project would take the knowledge they have about things they love to do like work on cars and motorbikes and turn it into a classroom learning activity.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
