My students need books, and we have a limited supply. We would love to have two Kindles so my students are able to download books so they are able to have access to reading materials.

My Students
We are a group talented fourth grade readers in Baltimore. As fourth graders, we have a lot of energy and love to learn. Our focus in our room is primarily reading, and we work hard each day to tackle the challenging Common Core demands.
Funding is not always available to us and that can be very difficult with the amount of the tough demands we need to meet each day.
My students are always engaged and look to be the very best so they are college and career ready.
My Project
Every year, my students strive to be better than they were yestereay. With limited access to resources, yes, books are limited; my students like to read but find it difficult to have the accessiblity to a variety of texts. We have struggled in the past to acquire new and interesting books for my students to engage in.
Struggling readers will continue to struggle unless they find books that are appealing and accessible to them.
Students also need access to technology to be able to keep up with the ever changing education world. Kindles will give my students the variety and freedom to be able to discover new books at a moments notice. My studnets will love getting their hands on books they love and are interested in.
