This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I am asking for is to help provide enough books for all our students. We are a kindergarten and 1st grade multi-age classroom and have

56 students.

We believe each child should have at least 3 nonfiction books in their Literacy bags. Our students use their literacy bags everyday and are readers. We also do small groups where we incorporate Jan Richardson’s guided leveled reading and students collect their books in order to always have a book if waiting for a teacher or the teacher is assessing.

Overall your donation would help ensure our students have non fiction books for their reading time.
