My Project

Kindergarteners are in school all day, no more half-day Kindergarteners here! My kids get hungry throughout the day.

We are the first to have lunch.

That makes our afternoon long.

When we come back to class after lunch we have three and a half hours before we can go home to get a snack. My kids get hungry after an hour of working hard and learning. Providing snacks to them will help them have the energy to make it through the afternoon.

Many kids in my school receive free or reduced-price lunches, making it hard for parents to send extra snacks.
