My Project

It's no doubt that I love each and every one of my students. They come into our classroom as a name on a list but leave as a forever name in our hearts. I truly believe that Kindergarten is the framework for the future. We are shaping great minds to not only be great students but also great people. It is a daily reward to be able to nurture, love, and teach our future leaders. Each resource will help them to learn, grow, and stay healthy at their "home away from home".

I believe that a classroom environment needs to be clean and well organized.

Paper towels and disinfectant wipes will allow for spills and student desks to be wiped down each day; cutting down on the spread of germs. Students will also need facial tissues and baby wipes to take care of runny noses and dirty faces that will be apparent throughout the school year. The pocket folders, storage (desk) baskets, and desk dividers will serve as an important tool for organization.

Alongside keeping the students healthy and organized, it is also essential that they be able to focus on learning rather than worrying about hunger. The Frito-Lay assorted chip bundles will allow for each student to have a small snack each day. While feeling full is important, students also need to feel confident and be praised for good behaviors and academic achievements as well. The candy variety bags as well as the squishy toys, and treasure box prize items will be very beneficial.

Lastly, the Magnatiles as well as musical toys will serve as fun and creative tools for sounding out words in our small group phonics lesson. The flair pens and erasers will allow for errors to be corrected and for future planning to take place.
