Kindergarten Fun!

My Students

I am an OEK (Optional Extended Kindergarten) teacher for the lowest scoring students coming into Kindergarten. Most of my students do not know how to write their names or know their alphabet and sounds. Some do not know how to hold a pencil, or even draw a stick figure. We also spend a lot of time learning how to follow simple directions and building relationships with other students. With Covid they are coming further behind with their learning.

My students love learning – especially when they have tangible tools to work with.

Even though they are academically challenged, they are always willing and eager to learn.

My Project

This will give my students variety of fun activities to help with my students learning. I don't want my student to spend too much time staring at the screen.

I want my students to enjoy learning by using different activities and not just paper and pencil.

Students will enjoy learning math when there are games to help with their thinking.

Kindergarteners learn differently from older students and by providing them with different ways of learning and games will help enforce their thinking skills.

My students will benefit greatly from these.
