My Project

Kindergarten students are always exploring and discovering new things in the classroom. These materials will provide them with hands on experiences in utilizing their creativity, while also developing fine motor skills and problem solving skills.

The art supplies allows students to explore their own ideas and figure out ways to implement them with different mediums, such as paint, playdough, and building materials.

We will also utilize the storage unit and communication center in the project to help students learn to organize and maintain supplies.

We will also use the felt boards to help create story boards. This will also help students be able to visualize their story and organize it to make sense while they put together the details. This will also provide visual supports for our English Learning students, and allow them to connect visuals with spoken words.

In Kindergarten, students grow so much throughout the school year and giving them materials to support this growth and help develop their ideas is so valuable and makes watching these kids grow so special.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
