My Project

When I think back to my fondest childhood memories, many of them revolve around using my creativity to make something special. Children deserve ample opportunities to create art and that's what I hope to provide with the materials in this project. The materials in this grant will be used as a creation station during our center time and for special art projects throughout the year.

Creating art connected to our learning will help the information stick and spark conversations about their learning when they bring their projects home.

Sometimes the art will be guided and sometimes they will be able to freely create with the supplies. Some of our more structured projects include recreating characters from the books we've read, stamping out words or scenes using stamp pads, and making fun seasonal scenes with watercolors and tissue paper.
