Amazing students are a constant inspiration for me. I anxiously await the arrival of students each morning. My days always go so much better when I see their smiling, enthusiastic faces. They are eager to do their best and have shown tremendous learning gains.
Classroom diversity has created a community of cooperation and kindness.
There are zero days that laughter and unity do not shine through in the smiles and excitement of our classroom community. Their teaching leader is right with them. The possibilities of what these students have to offer and their potential inspire me each hour of every single day I am fortunate-enough to lead them.
My Project
Each of these fitness bands will be given to a student in our classroom. We look forward to the students being able to set goals, compute their movement steps, and to become more active.
Motivation through movement has always been a key factor in getting our third grade students to succeed.
As our wonderful scholars are setting their goals for steps achieved per day, week, or month, our math skills are growing right along with them. We will utilize table group totals as well as compare our class total number of steps to surrounding teams of students. I will offer numerous prizes along the way for participation. As students reach their fitness goals, they are able to bring that confidence and success into the classroom.
Inspiring youngsters has been my lifelong passion. These bands would allow that inspiration and motivation to continue (one step at a time!).
