A meeting area for all dreamers is a draw for every child. A carpet area provides a place to allow our terrific students to build their confidence and share their learning. This great carpet will be a fantastic place for each of the students to come over to five or more times each day. We have morning meetings, read alouds, and partner activities on the area of a great carpet. In addition, we bring over math boards and markers to meet at this carpet area. What is being now used is decades old and tearing apart. I am sure that this carpet would also be a requested spot for many students as they determine their individual reading areas of choice.
