Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our soccer team works hard to play hard. This group of young students are eager to believe and achieve in something greater than themselves. The students on the team work hard both on and off the soccer field to succeed.
Our 7th and 8th graders come from all around the city to form a community where we focus on our core values of rigor, community, relationships, and drive.
Through innovative programs, we are showing some of the most rapid growth in the state as measured by standardized test score improvement. Instructional time is essential to maintaining and increasing our level of growth in the classroom.
My Project
Our school carries a legacy of winning the city championships in soccer each year. Our student athletes take great pride in their abilities and winning record. As a school that values community, drive, rigor, and relationships team sports are a great way to support our students towards success. You will often find both students and staff on the sidelines and in the stands supporting our soccer team.
Our soccer team is incredibly driven and the players will push one another to do their best on and off the soccer field.
By providing our student athletes with more soccer balls, we will be able to support our players in practice and down the path to yet another city championship!
