Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Studies show that children are natural scientists. They enter this world ready to discover, experiment and learn through play. They want to be excited about learning and I want help them stay excited!

As their transitional kindergarten teacher, I want to strengthen the skills they need in order to continue being engaged and excited about learning while in my classroom.

I am requesting color paper so I can print out digital small group activities for students to use. I am requesting 2 paint aprons to help keep students' clothes clean while painting. The requested hands-on learning STEAM manipulatives to encourage my students to develop better number recognition, learning their letters, shapes, counting, sorting skills and patterns. I personally selected these STEAM hands-on manipulatives so I can keep my students and future newcomer students engage while having fun in school as well as learn to work together with other classmates.
