My Students
The children in my classroom are high-risk students who come from low-income families. My school is a Title I school and every child receives a free lunch. I am passionate about working with young children and with your support, we can ensure that my students have the learning resources needed to reach their educational goals.
Would you consider being our classroom hero?
My students have a wide range of needs in the areas of social-emotional skills, communication, and academics. Despite what obstacles and hardships the children face outside of school, they come to the classroom every day ready to learn. My students inspire me to be the best teacher that I can be. I will continue to advocate for my students in order to ensure that they receive a quality education.
My Project
As a first-year resource teacher, I am establishing my classroom space in order to accommodate my small group interventions. Recently we received headphones and I am requesting the storage basket in order to house all of our new headphones. The storage bins will be used to store the math games that we have in the classroom. I requested pencil containers to store our pencils in an organized manner. The Learning Resource storage caddy will be used to store our classroom art materials/ writing center for easy access for the students.
