Keeping Our Headphones Clean!

My Project

I teach music at a Title I school in suburban South Carolina. The students make up forty-one classes in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, including special ed, regular ed, and gifted students. Many of these students come from low-income​ families and they rely on teachers or the school for their materials. All of my students love new experiences. They are always eager to get involved in learning. Our mascot is the “Busy Bee” and we certainly stay busy trying to make every moment count in music class!

All of my students are super excited to be learning how to play keyboard instruments this year.

So what is the hold up? We need the proper cleaning materials to keep the headphones germ free as they are used by hundreds of students each year.

We want to share instruments, NOT GERMS!

By donating toward these cleaning materials, you can ensure that my students are receiving the highest quality of music education.

Cleaning the headphones at the end of each class period will also teach students responsibility. Our headphones will be cleaned with the requested sanitizing wipes and the keyboards will be dusted periodically with the can air dusters to benefit hundreds of students this school year.
