Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a wonderful class full of sixth graders this year. They are kind, considerate, and a super affectionate group. I would love to give them interesting activities to do indoors on our rainy days. While they will not be able to go outside to play, they will still be able to socialize together; playing games (Jenga, trouble, the game of war, scrabble, etc.) doing play-doh, puzzles, coloring, crafting origami, STEM kits, and drawing.

These materials will allow my students to be safe, have fun, and learn how to play organized games during indoor recess.

The tape will be used to label our 1:1 Chromebooks, and the Valentines will be used for a Valentine exchange for the sixth graders. My students will love these materials and truly enjoy playing with them together.
