Help me give my students a mini-fridge and ice packs to keep snacks and science projects cold.

My Project

My refrigerator of 7 years just died. I've used the fridge almost everyday for keeping things cool. I keep ice packs in the freezer in case students have bumps/bruises or mosquito bites for pain relief.

Instead of salty snacks and chips, classrooms with refrigerators can store significantly more fruits, vegetables, and dairy snacks.

When my kindergarten students come in late from breakfast, we store their fruit, milk or yogurt in there until snack time. For celebrations, their families (or myself) may bring in cupcakes or other refrigerated snacks and juice. Popsicles are a wonderful treat we can keep in the freezer too! Sometimes we do science experiments with ice and cold temperatures.
