My Students

Our students deserve a current library. Help us purchase this year's ALA award-winning books.

Our 500 students love to read.

They are thrilled that for the first time in five years, we have a half-time librarian who has worked to provide them with current, relevant texts. They love reading the latest and greatest picture and chapter books, and they deserve to have a library that contains 2012 ALA winners.

My Project

We are requesting two copies of each of the Newbery and Caldecott-winning and honor books. Our school population is almost half Hispanic, and we have requested as many Pura Belpre Honor winning books as are available. Your donation will put these critical texts in students' hands.

Our students deserve the best resources available.

An outdated library without current ALA-winning texts is absolutely unacceptable. We need your support to keep our library relevant to our students' lives.
