Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students' families encompass a diversity of cultural, economic, educational backgrounds, and academic needs. Like all students, they need a caring, creative and engaging environment that nurtures their imaginations and learning so that students can thrive and be successful in school.

My Project

The carefully curated book series are specifically for my struggling readers who need more targeted "just right" books that offer support for their reading and literacy development. With these books, they will be able to read independently and gain more confidence in their reading ability.

The selected math tools will give all of my students practice counting and understanding place value through hands on learning. With these tools they'll gain a deeper understanding of how 1 hundred equals 10 tens, which also equals 100 ones and how to regroup ones and tens when solving math problems.
