Jengature Tower Talk

My students need an opportunity to review literature in an exciting format. Providing students the chance to play 'Jengature Tower Talk' will not only be a fun test prep review game but provide scholarly discussions.

My Students

I teach in a suburban middle school where the poverty index is around 87%, meaning students do not always have the essentials to succeed in life. This makes my job as their teacher even more important. I believe that by empowering my students I am making a difference not only today, but for their futures of tomorrow.

The look in my students' eyes when they achieve a goal makes all efforts worth while.

My classroom instruction is made up of active learning through student leadership and collaboration. We spend a great deal of time on real-world problems and discussing potential solutions. The students embrace the empowerment they feel when put in charge of their own learning.

My Project

The 'Jengature Tower Talk' activity will provide powerful authentic scholarly discussions of various novels, short stories, and non fiction texts. To execute this high interest activity, our project is in need of twelve Jenga sets. Having students engaged in groups of four, allows for ALL students to share their thoughts and no voice will be unheard.

By donating to our project, you will be providing students the chance to gain confidence in sharing their voice.

This project will make a difference in my students' learning as they will learn how explain and analyze the topic question on each Jenga Block.
