My students are hard working and committed students though they face many of life's obstacles. The vast majority of my students are living in high poverty situations making education their only viable hope for a bright future. However, they do not let these challenges limit their dreams. For most, they will be the first of their family to go to college. My job is to provide meaningful opportunities for critical thinking, engaging lessons, and collaboration.

About my class
