My Project

Our school library has become a vibrant space filled with music, creativity, and connection. Thanks to previously funded instruments, students now gather throughout the day to explore the keyboard, practice guitar, and learn from one another. What began as curiosity has grown into a meaningful community where students build confidence, collaborate, and discover a love for music.

Right now, our biggest challenge is access.

The instruments we have are constantly in use, and many students eagerly wait for a turn. It is a very popular space during lunch and some students ask days in advance to play. With just a few additional instruments and essential supports, we can open the door for more students to actively engage at the same time.

This project will add another keyboard, additional student-friendly guitars, and protective cases to keep our instruments safe and accessible. We will also include basic accessories like tuners, picks, stands, and extra strings so students can learn proper techniques and care for the instruments independently.

By expanding our resources, we will create more opportunities for students to learn, practice, and collaborate together. Music in our library is more than just playing notes—it is a way for students to express themselves, connect with peers across grade levels, and feel a sense of belonging in a shared creative space.
