Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our project includes a variety of essential supplies to help our students build and maintain a thriving school garden. We are requesting garden tools and materials such as soil, planters, and basic equipment to support hands-on learning. To keep students safe and engaged, we’ve included child-sized gardening gloves and other protective gear. We are also adding educational garden-themed books to connect our outdoor work with literacy and classroom learning. These resources will allow students to explore science, responsibility, and teamwork while caring for our garden space. Our garden will be used by all students Prek-5th.

This is our first year gardening, and our BEST and CARES program students love being in the garden, exploring and learning together.

As a Title I campus, we would truly appreciate your support in helping our garden grow.
