Your generosity gives children something truly valuable: the opportunity to move, explore, imagine, and discover the world around them. Our students are building friendships, learning to communicate and cooperate, solving problems, developing confidence and resilience, and discovering the joy of being capable and independent. These experiences help children grow not only as students, but as happy, confident, and compassionate individuals.\r\n\r\nYour support also helps transform the outdoors into a place where academic learning comes alive. A simple observation can become a science lesson. Thanks to our new classroom clipboards, we will be able to write down observations while exploring our school garden. The time spent noticing the natural world can inspire thoughtful writing and reflection. When children can touch, explore, experiment, and experience what they are learning, lessons become more engaging and memorable.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your generosity helps ensure that every child has opportunities to learn and thrive in ways that meet their individual needs. Thank you for recognizing the importance of educating the whole child and for helping us create an environment where children can grow physically, academically, socially, and emotionally.","fullyFundedDate":1778187022777,"projectUrl":"project/outdoor-play-for-young-scholars/10196306/","projectTitle":"Outdoor Play for Young Scholars!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Paredes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8558229_orig.jpg?crop=577,577,x0,y23&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756863726292","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8558229"},{"teacherId":9091033,"projectId":10193936,"letterContent":"First and foremost thank you so much for donating to our Prekindergarten classroom. My students were so happy to see the new materials. When I opened the butterfly kit they were over the moon excited. We saw the caterpillars and talked all about how they change into a butterfly. They are also very excited to use the tiny shovels to dig up our trees from spring when we planted acorns in the playground mulch. \r\n\r\nI can't wait to start our plant unit and watch the students use all the new materials. Share a specific classroom project or moment.\r\nBecause of your generosity, these resources have become part of our everyday learning. During quizzes and tests, my students especially love the encouraging sayings on the privacy folders, they bring smiles and help calm those testing nerves. One thing I appreciate is watching my students use their whiteboards and markers to work through problems together. They feel more comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and trying again. The clipboards also give them the flexibility to write and learn anywhere in the room. These tools have truly made our classroom more interactive, supportive, and engaging.\r\n\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nThe day our materials arrived my students were beyond excited seeing the boxes come in and couldn't wait to open them. Their eyes lit up with curiosity and joy, and they immediately wanted to start using everything. It was such a special moment to see their excitement and appreciation.\r\n\r\nWhat are the next steps for your students on a current classroom lesson or project?\r\nThanks to you, we will continue using these materials every single day. My students will keep building confidence as they solve problems on their whiteboards, organize their thinking on clipboards, and work independently with their privacy folders. These tools are helping them become more independent, engaged learners, and we are excited to continue growing and learning together.","fullyFundedDate":1764691809850,"projectUrl":"project/write-listen-focus-fueling-learning-o/9546883/","projectTitle":"Write, Listen, Focus: Fueling Learning One Tool at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Narvaez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9273579_orig.jpg?crop=960,960,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754511302429","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9273579"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_11388","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":682,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":40,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":55,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":34,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":78.9,"schoolId":11388,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Montgomery Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Montgomery Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/montgomery-independent-school-district/montgomery-elementary-school/11388"}
