Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom serves students for robotics, STEM, computer science and Game Design, physics, and Esports. We are now in year two of our Esports program! The students have access to gaming PCs, the Nintendo Switch, and virtual reality for Esports. Students will compete in Splatoon 3, Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, and a variety of PC and PS5 games.

We serve nearly 50 students during our lunch and after school programs.

This means that our classroom can become quite odorous with that many bodies present. This air filter will help to purify the air. This will increase the attention and performance of my students, especially those in Esports. Also, we have several 3D printers. Those printers release small amounts of particles that are potentially hazardous. This air filter would reduce those particles, increasing the quality of air and quality of health for our students!
