This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Hello! I am looking for support purchasing a hand washing station, a sand box/sand, stepping stones, and weighted vests. I have a special education inclusion classroom and these items would be so helpful for my students.

I have students with sensory needs and I think a weighted vest is the route to go.

Having a hand washing station in the class would be amazing becuase I can teach the proper technique and watch my kids practice-plus we have a "Farm to Table" section we are getting ready to explore and having a hand wash station in class would eliminate many germs when we get to sample new fruits and vegetables.

A sand table with sand is something I would love for the kids to experince. They love to work with their senses so this is ideal. Different leveled stepping stones is also on my list-I have a lot of busy buddies! They would benefit so much from the colors and heights provided in the stones.

I want my kids to have what they need to succeed, and these items will help get them there, plus, I will be able to utilize these resources for years to come. I appreciate any support! I am so grateful for everything you do to help me give my students what they deserve!
