My Project

This year the Life Science classes planted a tulip test garden as part of the Journey North program that tracks migrations and seasons. As part of that work students wanted to set a weather station and track the weather patterns that can impact the community and the garden. With the help of the custodians we will be installing this weather station so that all of the students have an opportunity to monitor the weather from inside the classroom.

Additionally we are going to share data with another school 11 miles away to compare microclimates.

This will be a first for collaboration with the other school. We look forward to working with students in both locations to find patterns in our weather data.
