Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My special education classroom is in need of two iPads to support the diverse learning needs of our students. These iPads will serve as invaluable tools for both educational enrichment and sensory regulation, aiding in the academic and emotional development of our exceptional learners. They will also allow students to practice academic skills and complete necessary assessments.

With the integration of iPads into our curriculum, students will have access to a wide range o interactive educational apps and resources tailored to their individual learning styles and needs.

Additionally, iPads offer a unique opportunity for students to take sensory breaks as needed throughout the day. Sensory breaks are essential for our students with special needs to regulate their sensory systems, reduce anxiety, and maintain focus and attention in the classroom. Utilizing specialized apps and activities, students can engage in calming exercises, visual and auditory stimulation, and interactive games designed to promote relaxation and self-regulation.

Unfortunately, our classroom are so old and have officially crashed and need to be discarded. By funding this project, you will directly impact the educational experiences and outcomes of our exceptional learners, empowering them to reach their full potential and succeed both academically and emotionally.
