Help me give my students an opportunity to create hands-on projects by developing creativity, coding skills, and collaboration by using Strawbees' robotic inventions.

My Project

My students light up in the STEM Lab when there are hands-on activities. Last year, we used Microbit, a mini-computer where students could create programs and understand how a computer works. Incorporating the robotic Microbit accessories set will profoundly impact students’ learning, engagement, and mental health. By building and coding their own inventions, students develop critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills, which are essential to academic growth.

The active engagement not only enhances their understanding, but, also boosts their confidence and self-esteem.

The sense of accomplishment from completing projects reduces stress and fosters a positive mindset, creating a supportive and dynamic classroom environment where every student can thrive. The most rewarding part is observing students’ ideas turn into incredible creations. I wish you had a chance to see the excitement on the students’ faces when sharing their accomplishments with me or their peers.

The other supplies listed will help provide some of the materials needed for their creations. Finally, as a teacher, I have done extensive research on how important computer science and robotics are in today’s world. Giving this experience to younger students will help them understand how computers work. Your support of this project will enlighten students’ curiosity about what they can do next with the robotic accessories.
