My Students

My students are part of the modern media communications magnet program. We specialize in integrating 21st century skills within our math and science curriculum. One project we are working on is kid blogging and publishing student work into text.

My Project

This iPad will primarily be used for distance learning. I will be making asynchronous math videos for students to watch, pause, play and repeat at their own time during independent virtual educational experiences. Students will watch videos to assist them in homework, and classwork. Once we return to school, I hope to use this iPad as a "station" for kids to play interactive math games, watch mathematical videos, and research and/or explore mathematical concepts. This will ensure longevity of this tool as a way to enhance 21st century learning and skills.
