This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students amaze me every single day! Just recently I asked them if they had the ability to make a drawing come to life, what would they draw? Their responses were incredible. They said they'd draw money for the homeless and food for people who were hungry. They are truly amazing. Help me build a curriculum that represents my students. It is important for them to read about changemakers, activists, inventors, and entrepreneurs who changed the world that look like them. Not only will this foster their reading skills but more importantly, it will foster a love for themselves and their culture.
