This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Motivate wheelchair bound students to learn by earning time to take off shoes and sit in a different position and comfortable bean bag.

At the moment, they remain in their wheelchairs for 7 hours a day.

They have the choice of coming out of their wheelchair and onto a hard plastic seat. They are uncomfortable and irritated so many times refuse to do school assignments.

By stretching their bodies, they will feel better. It’s intentional so that they will be able to complete learning activities. Please consider helping them.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
