My Project

When it is cold outside, my students are stuck inside for recess. Please help me provide games my students can play with while stuck inside. Board games are a great way for students to develop social skills, identify colors, learn counting, take turns, follow rules, make friends, conflict resolution, and much more. My school is a Title I-funded school, with most families falling below the poverty line. Over 60% of my students are English Language Learners (ELL). Many of my students lack the necessary social skills to make and maintain friends and the ability to effectively communicate with their peers. Playing games during recess is a perfect way to get students to learn and hone in on their social, communication, and interpersonal skills.
