This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our baseball team is in need of donations to enhance our indoor practice facilities. Currently, our practice space lacks proper turf, limiting the quality of our training sessions. Turf is essential for creating a realistic playing surface indoors, allowing players to practice fielding, sliding, and overall gameplay in a controlled environment. By acquiring turf for our indoor facility, we can ensure that our players receive the best possible training experience, honing their skills effectively regardless of weather conditions.

Additionally, the team is seeking donations for batting mannequins to aid our pitchers in improving their accuracy.

These mannequins serve as realistic targets, enabling pitchers to focus on hitting specific areas of the strike zone with precision. Practicing accuracy is crucial for our pitchers' development, and having dedicated equipment like batting mannequins will greatly enhance their training regimen. Your support in providing these resources will not only benefit the individual skill development of our players but will also contribute to the overall success and competitiveness of our school baseball team.
