This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. Using whiteboards in the resource classroom allows each student to freely answer the activity given using their form of way. The students can draw circles (cookies), tally, etc. The use of whiteboards also allows the students to collaborate with other students by showing their work to each other. Having the proper erasable markers go in hand as well. The students constantly have to share the markers since their not sufficient. When the students want to present their work, either they have to re-write the work because the markers are almost dried up or wait until another student is done to borrow theirs. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
