The very first day we rolled it in, my students gasped and immediately started whispering about all the ways they could use it. \r\n\r\nWhen the white board first arrived, my students were thrilled. Several of them took turns touching the smooth surface and testing out the markers, and a few even said, \"This is like a teacher board, but for us!\" Their excitement made the classroom feel extra energized that day.\r\n\r\nNext, my students will continue using the whiteboard for collaborative lessons. In math, they'll use it to show multiple ways to solve word problems, and during writing, groups will plan stories together using the board as their brainstorming space. Each week, students will set personal goals, and at the end of the week, they'll have a chance to choose a small treasure if they meet their goals.
