Individual and Group Counseling Session With Technology

My Students

With everything we have going on with the pandemic, students still show up to school despite all the emotional trauma they are going through. They show up to school daily with a smile on their faces.

As a school counselor, I have witnessed first hand how my tier 1, 2, and 3 instruction has seen an increased this year.

This shows that students are struggling emotionally from anxiety, depression self-esteem social skills, as well as grief and loss. I believe our students need help and I am grateful to Donors Choose for their help.

My Project

With the iPad and Apple TV, my students will be able to learn visually as technology use always helps students learn in a lot of different ways. I will be able to teach individual and group counseling lessons using powerpoint presentations, videos, and google slides. This will help generate student focus and interest in lessons. I believe that my students will be noticeably engaged in their work during counseling lessons and will be less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of working or learning with the help of technology.
