My Students

The students in our classroom are bright, thoughtful, and have lots of questions! We love learning here and get excited to try new things.

All of my students are Native American and enrolled in the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa tribe and love to learn about their culture and language at this young age.

This group of children were affected by COVID socially at this crucial age, so we are always looking for new ways to help us in the classroom. They are so appreciative and thankful for all the help we can receive!

My Project

Thank you for viewing our project. In our Kindergarten class, we are ready to start reading independently. This teacher and the students are so excited to see how many books we can read throughout the rest of the school year. The students are encouraged to select books that are a pleasure for them to read.

If this project is funded, it would allow for my students to choose books that spark their interests and passions.

The books in this project cater to the students wants. These books would be a perfect addition to our classroom library, and we would be so grateful to have them!
