Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our biggest goal is for our students to feel welcomed and safe in our classrooms. Books are a great way for them to understand one another, care for each other and most importantly respect each other.

When a child can identify themselves with a book, we have already taken a huge step.

These books will help my students understand the importance of respecting one another. During these times, it is so crucial for us to incorporate kindness books. It is important for each child to feel loved, welcomed and cared for. These books will help my students accept themselves just they way they are and respect their friends for who they are.
